Next is Warlander, a free to play MOBA from Toylogic, shutting down on January 20. As another online only title, it too will become completely unplayable once the servers are taken offline. Warlander remains downloadable from the Microsoft Store, but its 14 achievements including multiplayer milestones will soon be unobtainable. Players aiming for 100 percent completion should plan to invest approximately 50 hours before the closure.
NBA Live 19 joins the closure wave on January 30, although reports suggest matchmaking servers have already been unstable for some time. The game has been delisted from the Microsoft Store, so only players with a physical copy can attempt the remaining eight online only achievements which will be discontinued once the servers go offline.
Upcoming Xbox Server Shutdowns Beyond January
Originally scheduled for this month, WWE 2K24’s server shutdown has been postponed to March 31. However, delisting across all platforms is still expected by the end of January which could limit access even before the final shutdown date.
Looking ahead, Project CARS 3 is expected to shut down in February. NBA 2K25, TopSpin 2K25, and New World are currently slated for possible server closures later in the year. These shutdowns are often announced with little notice so it is important for players to stay vigilant.
